EDUCATION

Education is at the heart of our mission. We firmly believe that every child deserves the opportunity to learn and grow, yet countless children have never set foot inside a school. That’s why we are dedicated to making a difference

HEALTHCARE Absolutely, providing children with high-quality education and promoting their well-being are essential strategies for breaking the cycle of poverty. Education equips children with the knowledge and skills they need to secure better job opportunities in the future, while promoting their social and emotional well-being helps them develop resilience and social skills.

HOUSING

We seek alleviate housing poverty in Tanzania by improving the standard of living of low-income families via the construction of (or repairs leading to) decent and affordable homes.

"Let us help each other"

LYUTARAMANE is the chagga word with the meaning of let us help each other. Makomu Parish is under Patron Saint Augustine of Hippo found in Marangu Makomu village in the Catholic Diocese of Moshi. The area is located in the North-East of our country Tanzania, near to the slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro. This organization LYUTARAMANE CARITAS was started by the Church as the means of answering the cry of the needy and less fortunate persons in the society by caring and providing basic needs such as education(school uniforms,exercise books, fees,food etc), health insurance and housing

MISSION

To offer best support to the community particularly children and poor through education, healthcare and housing.

THE MAIN OBJECTIVES OF LYUTARAMANE
  • To fight against the growing illiteracy,death rate and poor housing infrastructures in our society.
  • It creates more opportunities for the people from less fortunate families to access to the basics of human life.
  • To inculcate the spirit of helping each other in the society.
  • To rescue the children from the plight of being street children, child laborers and other oppressive elements in the society.
  • To develop among the people the sense of community, good social relationship and the ability to work together for certain good such as healthcare, education or housing.
